The inspection well steel mold features corrosion resistance and noise reduction, offering compressive strength, corrosion resistance, and fracture resistance. Its advantages lie in its convenience for on-site construction, simplified processes that shorten the construction period, as well as its durability, environmental friendliness, and excellent quality stability with low maintenance costs.
The specifications of inspection well molds vary in size. One common type produced by our factory has a mold length of one meter and a steel plate thickness of five millimeters. To enhance the sturdiness of the mold's surface, we weld reinforcing steel plates approximately five centimeters wide for support, ensuring that the mold does not crack or burst during concrete pouring, thereby ensuring high safety. Previously, when using inspection well steel molds for production, manual handling and vibration were required. However, with the increase in available tools, we can now use crane equipment and vibration platforms for these operations.
Inspection well steel molds are made of steel, which is an indispensable and cost-effective material in today's construction and manufacturing industries. In actual production, steel is not pure but typically contains various alloy elements. Under high-temperature conditions, pig iron is heated, and the carbon content reacts with oxygen in the high-temperature furnace, reducing the carbon content in the pig iron, thus smelting it into steel. The smelted steel is processed under pressure to form the square or circular inspection well steel mold shapes as designed in the drawings. Common inspection well molds come in three internal diameters: 1000mm, 1250mm, and 1500mm. Depending on the specific internal diameter, the plate thickness must have distinct characteristics. For example, if the same plate thickness is used for a 1-meter internal diameter and a 1.5-meter internal diameter, the former will be of higher quality than the latter because a smaller internal diameter requires thicker plates.
